Someone gifted me with tickets to an end-of-season hockey game. I don’t know a lot about hockey. But there’s something about the violence and aggression that makes my girlie parts tingle. Not just from the cold of the rink, but watching all those men with their big sticks shoving each other around over that puck. I was lucky enough to get a seat against the plastic that protected us viewers from flying pucks and sticks. As the game progressed, I became even more excited and eventually stood and pressed up against the plastic to get the best view of the action. All too soon, the game ended, and everyone started gathering their things. I grabbed my belongings when there was a knock in front of me on the plastic barrier. It was one of the players from the blue team getting my attention and grinning at me from ear to ear.
