I always loved summer camp. It was the few weeks a year I was independent and off on my own adventures away from the parentals. Teenage me was a bit gangly and awkward honestly. I was quite thin and didn’t get my curves until I graduated. I didn’t get much attention from the boys or girls while I was at camp but everyone did love to joke that I was a mermaid from how much time I spent in the water. Summer camp with Ariel was never a dull moment though. I was into all sorts of shenanigans. Breaking into the boys dorm. Pranking the counsellors (until I became one).
