Fear began to sweat from my pores. The first tall, black man pulled the mask from his face, and immediately, guilt replaced the fear filling my chest. It was the bartender from the swim-up bar. The one that made Cam the most jealous. I looked over at my boyfriend, struggling with the ropes they’d tied him up with. He was yelling that they could take the money in the safe, that he wouldn’t call for the police if they just didn’t touch me.

The second man pulled off his mask, and it was the towel boy I let dry me off the first day we arrived at the Caribbean resort. “Please don’t do this.” I whimpered, but the men climbed on the bed to surround me. The bartender cupped my jaw with a gigantic hand and nipped my lower lip.
