My friend’s Aunt hosted a birthday party for her nerdy cousin, and she asked me to come. I didn’t have any other plans, so I bought him a video game and showed up at the party. As soon as I walked in, I knew exactly why she’d asked me to come. The dude was a loser with zero friends. He’s such a dork that her Aunt had hired a magician to perform, basically for the five of us.
His mom, Dad, cousin, and I sat in the backyard watching as the Magician set up his show. The doofus was pacing in front of the Magician, asking him a ton of questions, and it was clear the guy didn’t understand why he was at a twenty-year-old’s birthday party.
