Punished by the Rancher: One summer I had the chance to work on a ranch doing an animal behavior internship. I was super excited because I love riding and was hoping maybe I could learn roping. It was in a different state than where I live, and the rancher offered me room and board along with my salary. As a poor college student that was a huge deal and great offer I just couldn’t turn down. I certainly wasn’t disappointed when I finally met the rancher face to face when I arrived. He was way older than me but better looking than many boys my own age. My daddy issues were going to be fueling my fantasies all summer long.
