Mommy had just gotten home when the phone rang. She could barely take off her heels, as it was ringing already as she unlocked the door. She dropped her bags and clicked her shoes to the nearest phone in the kitchen. It was your teacher. She called to tell Mommy that you swore at her at school today and to make matters worse, you had an accident and she had to find you a change of clothes.
Don’t talk back to Mommy
Mommy thanked the teacher and apologized profusely, then hung up the phone. She looked over at the clock and angrily anticipated your return home from school. When you got off the yellow bus, you skipped and walked home. You had no idea that the teacher had called mommy. You were looking forward to your favorite dinner and playing with mommy that evening. When you arrived home, the house was eerily quiet. You couldn’t smell your favorite dinner cooking, and you noticed that all the lights were off except that in the kitchen. You dropped your back pack and slowly walked over to the kitchen. Mommy sat there at the kitchen table, with her legs crossed, in her high heels. She was wearing her feather trimmed robe and her lingerie.
‘’Mommy?’’ you said. Mommy put out her cigarette in the ashtray on the table. You rarely saw mommy smoke, but if she did, it meant she was very stressed and angry. She exhaled her last long drag and said: ‘’Your teacher called me today.’’ You swallowed hard and began to feel scared and excited. Mommy then looked down at your crotch. ‘’Those aren’t the pants I sent you to school in.’’ You swallowed hard again. ‘’So?’’ you replied. ‘’What did you just say?’’ said mommy. She jumped up from her chair, clicked her heels over to the kitchen drawer and grabbed her favorite wooden spoon. Then she ran over and grabbed you and put you over her knee. ‘’First you swear at the teacher, then you do an accident in your pants, and now you talk back to MOMMY?!’’ You began to say sorry, but it was too late, Mommy was going to punish you for every naughty deed and then some…
