Krysta and I met while taking a statistics class in college.  We became fast friends and thick as thieves.  I helped her with the concepts and problems.  She kept me entertained with her comments about the monotone the professor had a tendency to use during lectures.  It wasn’t our fault he insisted on wearing sweater vests and talking like that dude from Ferris Bueller.  Usually, I can bite my lip and keep my giggles in.  But this past Thursday, Krysta was in rare form, and I lost it in a fit of giggles.  The professor stopped his lecture midsentence and announced that Krysta and I would be staying after class for a discussion on respect and proper classroom etiquette.  I immediately felt cowed by his stern voice, but Krysta just kept mumbling snarky comments under her breath about how we’d see who would show who what after class.
