Ronnie was on his way to play outside when he overheard Mommy Anna in her room. She was talking loudly and began swearing in Italian. Suddenly he heard her yell the word ‘’Schifoza!’’ which for some reason, sounded like music to his ears. As he took off out of the house, he began to repeat the word over and over in an effort to memorize it.
Ronnie learns bad words
He was on his way to the local bakery, as Mommy Anna had asked him to go there earlier to pick up some things for her. When he was at the deli counter, the old fat lady behind the counter rushed him. He had been so focused on memorizing Mommy Anna’s angry dirty words, he almost forgot what he came to the store for in the first place. Then, he yelled it out remembering it. But as the fat lady turned to go fulfill his order he mumbled ‘’Schifoza!’’ under his breath.
The fat lady turned and scoffed, but Ronnie pretended to sneeze and sound out the words, as if it was all a misunderstanding. The fat lady then arched her brow, and fulfilled his order and tossed it at him. He ran out of the store so quick, he forgot to say goodbye to everyone and take a cookie on his way out.
Back at home, Ronnie put the groceries in the fridge and went to couch to rest. He wanted to watch his favorite show, but Zoey was already sitting there enjoying her sing alongs. Ronnie grabbed the remote from her and they began to fight. Back and forth they argued and played tug-a-war with the remote. Mommy Anna was upstairs on the phone with her lover when she heard the commotion and decided to come down to break it up. It was just then she overheard Ronnie call his little sister Zoey a Schifoza. ‘’What does that mean?!’’ said Zoey. ‘’It means RONNIE’S IN BIG TROUBLE!’’ yelled Mommy Anna.
