Ronnie was riding his bike around the neighborhood, when he suddenly heard a bunch of grown men yell ‘’Bombaclot!’’ as they smacked the table while playing dominoes. Some laughed, some cussed some more. This intrigued him, so he decided to go another round around the block. Sure enough, just as he approached them he was met with yet another ‘’Bombaclot!’’
Ronnie don’t say that word!
All the way home, Ronnie tried to imagine what that word meant. He sensed it meant something bad, but he couldn’t figure out what.
When he got home, Mommy Anna was in the kitchen with her robe and high heels, preparing dinner while on the phone with her lover. Ronnie went over to the family room and sat down to watch TV, but Zoey was already watching her favorite show. ‘’Hey, Zoey, can I – ‘’ but before he could finish he was met with a ‘’NO!’’ he simply wanted to cut her show short so he could watch his. ‘’Bombaclot!’’ he yelled. Zoey looked at him funny. Then, he decided he would pick up the phone and call his buddies, but when he picked it up he overheard Mommy Anna talking to her lover ‘’Anna, is everyone behaving over there? You know how much I love to hear when they don’t behave’’. Ronnie took the phone and slammed it ‘’bombaclot!’’ he exclaimed.
He stomped upstairs to go play with his baseball and catcher’s mitt while lying in bed. Zoey, on the other hand stayed downstairs to finish her show. Suddenly something came over her, and she decided to take Mommy’s cellphone and google the meaning of the word Ronnie kept saying. When she read it, her eyes grew big, and she gasped, running to tell Mommy Anna.
Mommy then called Ronnie downstairs. He diligently made his way down, but as he came down the stairs, he stubbed his toe and let out a loud ‘’ Bombaclot!’’ Mommy Anna grinned, as she put the phone down for her lover to listen. She ran over to grab Ronnie immediately…
